Letter: Go Libertarian

Posted: March 20, 2012 - 9:06pm  Are you less than thrilled with the presidential candidates being put forward by the two major political parties? Are you tired of settling for the least objectionable choice to lead our nation?

Consider attending the Libertarian Party of Kansas’ state convention Saturday in Kansas City, Mo. All of the Libertarian presidential candidates will be there for a spirited debate. Candidates include former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, Jim Burns, Roger Gary, Carl Person, Bill Still, R. J. Harris and R. Lee Wrights.

The event is a joint state convention with the Libertarian Party of Missouri and will include a school for candidates running for public office, the selection by the state parties of candidates for local public office and the selection of delegates to the national convention in May.
