Wednesday, March 16, 2011; The Kansas Republic, is pleased to host Mr. Clyde Cleveland who will be delivering a multi-media presentation on our government, “Using Common Sense to Restore our Republic”, with the major contents of his discussion based on the original works of Thomas Paine, published In 1776. Thursday, March 17, 2011; AMERICANS FOR PROSPERITY FOUNDATION, Wichita Area Chapter is pleased to host Gregory Schneider, PhD Professor of History at Emporia State University who will be delivering a program, “The Conservative Century Revisited”.  Dr. Schneider’s program is based on a Bradley Lecture that he presented at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy on October 2010.  The program is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room, Central Branch of the Wichita Public Library, 223 South Main, Wichita, Kansas (See attached flyer for details). 

Friday, March 18, 2011; Gregory Schneider, PhD, Professor of History, Emporia State University will present, “Requiem for a Railroad:  The Collapse of the Rock Island”, at The Wichita Pachyderm Club luncheon meeting.  The Wichita Pachyderm Club meeting is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the 9th floor of the Petroleum Club, Wichita, Kansas.  The meeting cost is $10.00 and includes a buffet luncheon. Friday, March 25, 2011; The Wichita Pachyderm Club will host David A. Nichols, PhD, a recognized expert on the Eisenhower presidency and a former professor and academic dean at Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas, who will introduce his new book,  “EISENHOWER 1956:  The President’s Year of Crisis – Suez and the Brink of War”.   The Wichita Pachyderm Club luncheon meetings are held from 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. on the 9th floor of the Petroleum Club in the Bank of America Building, 100 N.
