Naming opportunities are quickly disappearing . . .
. . . So act right now to put your name on this historic building forever — right alongside LP Founder David Nolan’s
Dear Fellow Libertarian,
As I write you this e-mail, LP members around the country have contributed a total of $190,554 to the David F. Nolan Memorial Building Fund.
That means Libertarians are eager for their name to appear forever on this historic building — and many naming opportunities have disappeared.
The good news is you still have an opportunity to put your name on the LP’s permanent headquarters building in the Washington, D.C., area — if you act quickly.
In a moment, I'll explain how your generous donation to the Nolan Building will result in an additional $5,000 a month going directly to advance the cause of Liberty.
As I mentioned to you in my previous messages, the LP is now firmly committed to purchasing a building in the Washington, D.C., area. And this building will be named the David F. Nolan Memorial Building.
All naming opportunities are being handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
That’s because the David F. Nolan Memorial Building will have only so many rooms. Those rooms will have only so many walls . . . and those walls will contain only so many plaques. So the opportunities to place your name on this historic building alongside that of LP Founder David Nolan are strictly limited; and many spots have already been taken.
Please select the naming opportunity that’s right for you right now, before it’s too late.
For a gift of $25,000 or more you can sponsor one of just five Liberty Rooms at the David F. Nolan Memorial Building.
If you contribute $10,000 or more you will be recognized as a Nolan Building Founder by having your name (or the name of a loved one) inscribed on a beautiful plaque all its own that will be displayed permanently in the Nolan building. Limit twenty five.
For a donation of $5,000 or more you will be recognized as a Nolan Building Hero of Liberty by having your name (along with others) memorialized on the Nolan Building Hero of Liberty Plaque above the Benefactor plaque below. Limit fifty.
For a donation of $1,000 or more you will be recognized as a Nolan Building Benefactor of Liberty by having your name (along with others) inscribed on an elegant Nolan Building Benefactor of Liberty Plaque to be displayed forever in the Nolan building. Limit two hundred.
For a gift of $500 or more you will be recognized as a Nolan Building Defender of Liberty by having your name appear forever in the leather-bound Nolan Building Defender of Liberty Registry that will be placed in the foyer of the Nolan Building.
For a donation of $250 or more your name will be inscribed on a Nolan Building Friend of Liberty framed certificate you’ll be proud to hang in your home.
For a gift of $100 or more you will be recognized by name in LP News as a Nolan Building Advocate of Liberty for your donation to the building fund (unless you prefer not to) and your name will appear in a special section of the LP website dedicated to Nolan Building contributors (again, unless you prefer otherwise).
Contributors at the $250 and above levels will also receive yearly invitations in 2013 and 2014 to private meetings with the Libertarian Party’s national chairman and executive director, where you’ll able to discuss the party’s progress and strategy.
Best of all, every dollar contributed to the David F. Nolan Memorial Building Fund must, by law, be spent on buying an office or associated expenses — or it must be returned to you, the donor.
That means your donation is guaranteed to be used only for the Building Fund.
By the way, if you’ve already made a donation to this historic project, of course your gift will be counted toward the recognition levels above. But you can still enhance your previous donation.
I’m Geoffrey Neale, chair of the Libertarian Party. And I want to thank you again for everything you’ve done to advance the Libertarian cause.
As you may recall, the David F. Nolan Memorial Building is expected to cost about $1,000,000. The building fund contains $190,554 so far, so we’ve nearly met the 20 percent down payment requirement.
But the more money we can put down, the more the LP will benefit — and here’s why.
The LP is now renting office space inside the aging — and expensive — Watergate building in Washington, D.C. And we’re paying far more money in rent than we expect to pay for a mortgage.
By purchasing our own building we expect to start saving about $5,000 a month immediately, and start building equity at the same time.
In fact the LNC’s resolution requires the new monthly payment of principal, interest, and OTM (overhead, taxes, and maintenance) not exceed 75 percent of our current lease payments at the Watergate complex.
That means we will be paying less money to own than we are now paying to rent.
So we will likely have $5,000 more a month to spend on achieving our mission of bringing about a more Libertarian society by electing more Libertarians to public office.
With your help, we can have $5,000 a month more for:
  • Candidate training and recruitment
  • TV, radio, and Internet advertising
  • Affiliate support
  • Membership recruitment, and
  • Outreach to independent voters, students and millions more Americans who have “had it up to here” with the high-tax, high-government-spending, anti-freedom older parties.
Fellow Libertarian, you and I must make America a free country once again . . before it’s too late.
So please make the largest donation you can afford right now — today — to help purchase the David F. Nolan Memorial Building. (Maximum allowable gift is $32,400 per calendar year.)
Remember, the opportunities to place your name on this historic building alongside that of LP Founder David Nolan are strictly limited, and many spots have already been reserved.
So please claim your spot in the historic David F. Nolan Memorial Building right now, before someone else takes it.

For a gift of $500 or more you will be recognized as a Nolan Building Defender of Liberty by having your name appear forever in the leather-bound Nolan Building Defender of Liberty Registry that will be placed in the foyer of the Nolan Building. (No limit.)
For a donation of $250 or more your name will be inscribed on a Nolan Building Friend of Liberty framed certificate you’ll be proud to hang in your home. (No limit.)

I’m sure you’ll be pleased to see your name emblazoned on the walls of this historic building. Perhaps one day you’ll want to show it to your children and grandchildren, and explain what you did to help make America a free country once again.
So please take this opportunity to take a stand for liberty — just as David F. Nolan did on that fateful day in 1971 when he and a small group of revolutionaries gathered inside his Denver, Colorado home and changed the course of history by creating the Party of Principle: the Libertarian Party.
Please make the most generous one-time gift you can afford right now to the David F. Nolan Memorial Building Fund.
Yours in Liberty,

Geoffrey Neale
